Haddon Rockers Rocking Horse in very good condition with Haddon Wallingford label number 36165 in Lydd, Kent for sale

The Haddon Wallingford label is sought after, as the firm later moved. This horse, despite its age of approximately 50 years, is in excellent condition as it has not been played with as the children for whom it was bought did not like the rocking movement. It is on a 6ft (1.83 m) wooden stand and is 51" (1.30 m) tall to the top of its ears. The horse has been a decorative addition to the house for the duration of its life. There are inevitably small chips in the paintwork, mostly round the hoofs and one or two on the body which are shown in the photographs. The saddle and main are all original and no restoration work has been done or is needed to make it a suitable present for grandchildren or children. The horse is fibreglass but new ones still costs several thousand pounds. The last fibreglass one we saw sold at auction locally went for £1850 and it was in very poor shape. So we think this one is very desirable
